Karen J. ZanoffKaren J. Zanoff has a strong background in federal legislative and regulatory affairs from both inside and outside government, with particular expertise in energy policy. Prior to joining Morgan Meguire, Mrs. Zanoff advised Rep. Karen McCarthy (D-MO) on energy and environmental issues within the jurisdiction of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on which she served.

Before going to Capitol Hill, Mrs. Zanoff was the Coordinator of Legislative Affairs and Assistant PAC Treasurer at the Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA), the national trade association representing the competitive power supply industry.

Mrs. Zanoff also served as a Government Relations Associate at the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI) and Legislative Staff Assistant at Nestlé USA, where she focused on the policies effecting energy and environmental policy in the manufacturing sector.

Mrs. Zanoff joined Morgan Meguire in 2001 and works with clients to formulate strategy and provide effective advocacy on a range of federal energy and environmental policy issues, including electricity restructuring, nuclear waste disposal and the federal power program, as well as telecommunications and appropriations assistance.

She holds a B.A. in government-sociology from Skidmore College (1994).
